What we all need from time to time is Black, a milky floral vanilla that calms rather than confronts. Blackcurrant, coconut, and peach undertones add a delicate layer of fruit to the vanilla accord, which is itself light and scarcely sweet, like coconut milk that has been frothed. The juicy berries and peach give off a subtly flirty mood, but overall the absence of overpowering sweetness distinguishes this as a sophisticated, mature vanilla aroma. 

A powdery rose eventually appears from the peachy, berry vanilla foam, trailed by creamy jasmine flower puffs and candied violet. The blossoms give the smell a particularly clean, feminine quality and feel more like a swirl of pricey cosmetic powder than freshly-cut flowers because they are diffused in a massive cloud of soapy white musk. Black lasts all day in terms of sillage and volume, but it is quiet rather than overwhelming.
